In the hinterland of Cambrils lies the Priorat The Priorat is Catalonia's oldest winegrowing region.

 

In 2001, the Priorat was raised to the highest Spanish quality level DOCa (Denominación de Origen Calificada). At present, the Priorat and Rioja regions are the only ones allowed to carry this highest denomination of origin.

 

On the Wine Route, admire the colors of the wine, taste a sip or just enjoy the wine-growing landscape. The route of the wineries of the Priorat takes you to different bodegas of the DOQ (DOCa) Priorat and the DO Montsant, where you can taste the high-quality, characterful wines that are produced there.
